Jared CannataGuitar/Backing Vocals
Jared Michael Cannata was born on April 10, 1988. Perhaps he wasn’t born with a guitar in his hand that day but he might as well have been. He was born into a world of cranked stereos that were always playing good music. By the age of 10 Jared had his first guitar and endless inspiration from his favorite guitarists such as Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and countless others. From childhood to adulthood, he grew up on stage with an intense practice regiment and drive. This drive is what brought him to his eventual study at The Berklee College Of Music where he maintained a 4.0 gpa. The knowledge and ability that he has acquired over the years and the music he has created with his band J.Rad, is what has undoubtedly given him the ability to share the stage with so many successful artists. Artists such as Scott Stapp (Creed), Bret Michaels, Mountain, Johnny Winter, Rick Derringer, Living Colour, Twisted Sister, Gilby Clarke, Otherwise, Joe Bonamassa, Vince Neil, Stryper, Filter, Zach Myers (Shinedown), Blue Oyster Cult, Asia, Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch, and many others. Now in 2015, Jared is ready to take on new musical opportunities with Billy Mira & The Hitmen and unleash some 6 string madness to the world. Links to some of Jared's other projects are below.
Jordan Cannata was born February 24th, 1990. Jordan has a long history behind a drum set that was molded by his relentless passion for music, drumming, and an unwavering thirst to expand upon his knowledge and abilities. Growing up in a family of music lovers, it wasn't surprising when Jordan and his brother Jared quickly developed an interest in music. At the age of 8, his parents bought him a guitar because his brother wanted one and they didn't want Jordan to feel left out. However, Jordan showed no interest in it, opting to bang on things with chopsticks rather than play his guitar. Realizing this, his parents bought him his first drum set and Jordan has been making noise ever since. The past 17 years of study both privately and at Berklee College of Music, playing on stages and in studios since the age of 11, and his wide range of influences from Neil Peart to Morgan Rose, and Steve Jordan to David Garibaldi, have molded Jordan into a drummer with a style all his own. This powerful, energetic style leaves him always needing more drumsticks, hence the alias Mo Sticky.
With his band J.Rad, Mo Sticky has had the opportunity to share the stage with many great artists such as Twisted Sister, Living Colour, Filter, Joe Bonamassa, Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Scott Stapp (Creed), Bret Michaels (Poison), Mountain, Johnny Winter, Gilby Clarke (Guns n Roses), Blue Oyster Cult, Asia, Saliva, Yngwie Malmsteen, Styper, LA Guns, Rick Derringer, Otherwise, Gemini Syndrome, Zach Myers (Shinedown), Saving Abel, and many others.
Mo Sticky is also no stranger to the studio. With J.Rad, he has also released 3 albums, 2 of which were produced by Grammy nominated Engineer/Producer David Ivory (The Roots/Eryka Baddu/Halestorm/Silvertide).
In 2015 Mo Sticky had the opportunity to join Mark Mendoza (Twisted Sister), Jay Jay French (Twisted Sister), and Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob) on stage for a performance of their classic hits during the 102.3 WBAB Metal Shop Anniversary Show. Now with Billy Mira & The Hitmen Jordan's passion for banging on things with chopsticks has never been stronger, and he is looking forward to what new musical opportunities are still to come.
