I'd be interested in your thoughts on our last show. Did you find it interesting? Did it change your thinking? Please take time and let me know your thinking. And thanks for listening!
Attitades have changed over the past 10 years or so and the number of states decrimalizing Cannabis have increased with more states considering the move. This week on our show, we will explore this issue with a farmer who is growing cannabis out west for legal distribution. We'll discuss medical uses, facts around use and abuse as well as new findings in the benefits of using weed. You may be surprised at the new products being developed as well. Join us Saturday at 1PM east, noon central for this controversial topic. Also take note of the link below which talks about the changing attitudes towards pot. Join us Saturday! Ordinary people, extraordinary talk!
Here's one man's opinion...
The circus surrounding Fox News and Bill O'Reilly is worth making note. Unlike many others, I don't see this entirely as a sexual harrassment issue. If you look close...it looks like a hit job by progressive politcal groups. I am not a big fan of O'Reilly but I don't want him silenced...assuming he did nothing wrong, espcially after being warned.
Evidence has surfaced that prove that groups like Media Matters are orchestrating events and leaks, etc. They are out to get another conservative (not sure really what O'Reilly is) silenced. I think they are out to try and "fundamentally transform" Fox News. Believe me when I say, its only a matter of time before they go after Hannity and Carlson. These groups now have more willing participants in Rupert Murdoch's sons who see the world different from Dad and now in power to do something about it.
I'm not defending O'Reilly but all we have are out of court settlements for complaints filed. As far as we know, it's lewd comments but no assaults. And I can tell you, from personal experience (not harassment but a different type of lawsuit), that settlements do not necessarily mean guilt. It's obvious that O'Reilly is stuck in the 60's when it comes to behavior with women, but his new contract puts strong measures in place to prevent further problems. If witnesses come forth or some other form of proof comes forward, that's another matter and he should pay the price.
These progressives will stop at nothing to silence conservatives, and change the landscape of media that doesn't fit their ideology. So be warned...this isn't about protecting women...(Bill Clinton anyone?)...this is about changing the most powerful conservative news channel into something that Media Matters can tolerate.
If proof shows O'Reilly is a scum bag...toss him. However, let's be careful what you wish for.
But then again what do I know...it's just one man's opinion...
Here's one man's opinion...we've all heard that governing is different than campaigning. Once one gets into office, things said on the campaign trail can be difficult to make a reality. Trump is finding this out for himself. In fairness, he has delivered on many promises but there appear to be some signs that he may be shifting his views on some things. I am keeping a close eye on this as should you. He needs to stick to his principles in his negotiations. What are his principles? We don't know or at least I don't know...and that bothers me. I want him to do what he said he will do, especially on health care and taxes. Compromise is part of it, but don't compromise on principles. It is up to all of us to hold him and other politicians to account to make sure they deliver. And deliver they must. These days in politics, they really only have this year to make changes because next year, re elections will be on their minds and nothing gets done. Come on guys! Stay focused and create a simple market based solution on health care and simplify and reduce taxes!
But then again, what do I know...its just one man's opinion...
Let's hope this isn't true...
Did you listen to this week's program? If not...why not! You need to hear the fascinating facts on Islam that you may have not heard before. For those who did hear it, I would be curious what you thought. Did you learn something new? Was it fair or Islamaphobic? Please share your thoughts in the comments section. Based on feedback I may do another program on this in the near future.
This had the most listeners of any program we've done to date so thank you for listening!

I want to have reasoned, substantial conversations on issues confronting the country today and how restoring our founding values (not transforming them) can bring us back to greatness. I have no love for either major political party...but Liberty, individualism and common morals are the direction we need to go. I think you will be surprised and challenged by some viewpoints but if it makes you think...all the better. Let's keep the posts polite and respectful. It's Ok to post articles which express opinions and or little reported stories in mainstream media.
